Our face-to-face fundraisers

Our face-to-face fundraisers hit the streets six days a week to talk with people about the environment and how their support of Forest & Bird contributes to our conservation and advocacy work.

These passionate fundraisers help hundreds of people join Forest & Bird and become a strong voice nature.

Last year Nature’s Future regular donors contributed more than $1.7 million, enabling us to accomplish an enormous amount. It’s thanks to them we can defend and protect New Zealand’s natural world.

Forest & Bird representatives are always dressed in brightly coloured green apparel and wear a name tag to identify themselves.

Our fundraisers visit residential homes until 8:00pm in summer. For public street sites, their fundraising hours are from 8.30 to 6pm.

Over the Festive season, fundraisers will finish at 7.30. They will be working some public holidays except for Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
