Post-Fire Tree Planting at Ohinetahi Reserve

Come and help with post fire tree planting at Ohinetahi Reserve. Ohinetahi is a reserve above Governors Bay owned by the Summit Road Society. About half of the reserve was damaged in the recent Port Hills fires. Forest and Bird will contribute to the restoration of the reserve by planting 250 trees and tending to them for 2-3 years to ensure their survival. The area assigned to us is near the summit road, below the sign of the Bellbird car park.
